Neighborhood Pack™: your dogs packed by neighborhood

Mobile only. Set the areas you work each day, and Clippie suggests those days to pet parents looking to book — packing your dogs into the same neighborhood.

This one is for mobile groomers. If clients come to you at a studio or at home, you have no pack — the rest of Clippie works the same either way.

Your week, packed by neighborhood

Drop a pin, set how far around it you are willing to drive, and choose which days you work there. When pet parents look for groomers in that area, Clippie’s booking system suggests the days you work in their neighborhood. Your Tuesdays stay your Tuesdays, and you stop announcing where you will be in an Instagram caption.

Smart booking suggestions

A booking request is only ever offered a time that actually fits the day you already have — the stops you have confirmed in that area. By steering nearby pet parents toward the days you are already in their area, Clippie packs your appointments by neighborhood so you spend your hours grooming instead of driving across town.

The arrival window

Your client gets a window rather than a time you would both watch slip. Two hours by default; you can make it as tight as one or as loose as four. It is computed from the day you have, and it always sits inside the time the client told you they are home.

A coat declared as matted at booking adds its minutes to the block before you set off, so the window is honest rather than optimistic. See what you see before you say yes.

What your client sees, and why they get a window rather than a time, is explained in why you got a window instead of a time — worth reading if a client asks.

A confirmed stop does not move on its own

Once you have confirmed an appointment, its planned start never changes unless you change it. Nothing reshuffles your day behind your back.

When the day runs long

If a stop is at risk of falling outside its window, Clippie tells you while there is still time to act, and then waits. You can call them, move them to another day, or cancel and release the deposit. Clippie never messages your client about a delay on your behalf — that conversation is yours, and so is the relationship.
