The dog you agreed to and the dog at the door are not always the same animal. A booking request can carry what you need to judge it before you commit the slot.
On the request
- A photo of the pet — you can require one, per pet, as part of your booking questions.
- Temperament notes — anything to watch, recorded on the pet rather than remembered from a text thread.
- How matted the coat is — the parent declares it when they book, on a four-level scale in plain language.
The coat changes the time, not just the price
A declared coat condition adds minutes to the block Clippie reserves, so a forty-five minute slot does not quietly become an afternoon. If the coat turns out worse than described, you correct it when you arrive — and the rest of the day re-plans around the correction.
Vet details, entry instructions and documents live on the pet as well; see pet profiles, records and vets.
