Your deposit policy is yours: a percentage of the booking, a minimum amount, or both. The deposit is held on the parent’s card at booking and counts toward the total — it’s not an extra charge.
The No-Show Shield
The Shield sets a floor: even on a small booking, the deposit is never less than your Shield minimum. A parent who books a $30 nail trim and vanishes still cost you a slot — the Shield makes sure that slot was never free to abandon.
- Policies are shown to parents before they book and agreed to explicitly.
- No-shows and late cancellations charge the stated fee automatically — no awkward collections call. See cancellations.
- Show up and groom? The hold simply becomes part of the normal payment.
