Booking your first groom

Book with the groomer who invited you, or find one nearby if you joined without an invite.

If your groomer invited you, Clippie opens already connected to their business. If you joined without an invite and have no groomer yet, you can use the one-time nearby search to connect with a participating groomer. Once connected, Clippie keeps you in that groomer's service experience.

Booking takes about two minutes:

  1. Add your pet — name, breed, size, anything the groomer should know.
  2. Pick services from the groomer’s menu, priced exactly as they set them.
  3. Choose a time from their real availability — or, if your groomer comes to you, tell them when you are home and get an arrival window back. See why you got a window instead of a time.
  4. Review and confirm — the full total is on screen before you commit. Through 2026 there’s no added fee: you pay the groomer’s price.

The whole total before you confirm. Deposits (if your groomer takes one) count toward it.

If the groomer takes a deposit, it’s held on your card now and counts toward the total — you’re never charged twice. The remainder is charged when the visit completes, for exactly the services performed.
