Real grooming has surprises — a matted coat, an add-on requested at drop-off. Clippie handles them without ever surprising the card:
- Small change (up to $25 or 15% of the total, whichever is less): the groomer applies it directly, and the parent sees it itemized on the appointment.
- Bigger change: the parent gets an approval request in the app — nothing is charged until they accept.
- Phone approvals: talked it through at drop-off? The groomer can record the parent’s verbal OK for the exact amount, with who-and-when logged on the appointment.
Either way, completion charges exactly what was agreed — the receipt itemizes every line.
