How it works

Refer groomers you believe in

You know your audience and your city. Introduce independent groomers to Clippie — mobile or salon — and they sign up under your partner code.

They build their business on Clippie

Your groomers take bookings and payments through the app. Completed bookings generate Clippie's platform fee — that fee revenue is what you share in. Fee revenue exists once standard pricing starts in 2027, which is when the program (and your 12-month window) begins.

You get paid every month

For eligible groomers you refer, a share of Clippie's own revenue may be paid monthly for their first year on the platform. Your statement shows the bookings and payout calculation.

Why this beats a sponsored post

  • It is a referral arrangement. A sponsored post pays once. Eligible referrals can produce monthly payouts while they remain active in the program.
  • It is transparent. Your monthly statement shows the in-window referrals, the applicable rate, and the payout calculation.
  • It is single-tier. Partners earn only from their own eligible referrals, never from other partners or partner recruitment.
  • Terms are in writing. We explain the schedule on your intro call and include it in the agreement before you sign.

Payouts depend entirely on eligible referral activity and may be zero. Clippie does not promise any level of earnings.

Program rules

  • One tier only. You earn on groomers you personally sign — never on other partners' referrals, and there is nothing to "buy in" to. This is a referral partnership, not multi-level marketing.
  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee. Earnings are reported on IRS Form 1099-NEC if they exceed $600 per year.
  • Disclose the partnership. Any content you post about Clippie must include a clear disclosure (e.g. #ad or "Clippie partner") per FTC endorsement guidelines.
  • Honest claims only. Share your real experience — no income promises to groomers or your audience.
  • Attribution is fixed at signup. Each eligible groomer is attributed to one partner when they join through that partner's invite.
